What’s it all about, Alfie?

I started this blog as a way to tell the stories I have pent up after years and years of watching ridiculous behavior across the negotiating table.

I’m a true “Procurement Geek”, I actually *like* what I do, though I don’t always like who I do it for.

I get a little giddy thrill from negotiating the hell out of a deal and knowing I did the best job I could for The Company.

I often learn a lot from my projects, and often think “If I could just tell other suppliers where this one missed the boat”. Or “No one will actually believe this story.” Or, “I just need to get some of this insanity off my chest”.

So I’ll take a stab at this blogging thing and see how it goes.

Sarbanes and Oxley ain’t got nothing on me!
