Written by a fifteen year veteran of the wild ride we call the Procurement Cycle. Currently employed by a “top 100″ company doing MRO procurement. After ten years at well known IT corporation, I recently changed companies and am in a whole new world, one that’s not yet comfortable.
I continue to find daily oddities in how we buy what we buy. Mssrs. Sarbanes and Oxley have become both the saints and the sinners of the Procurement Office. Some of this stuff just can’t be made up.
Good stories to come.
